Product Description

Chloroform is an organic compound available in liquid form. This liquid is sense, colorless and has sweet odor. With a CHCl3 formula, Chloroform also called trichloromethane is used to form PTFE and several refrigerants by a metabolic reaction. When inhaled or ingested, it acts as an anesthesia and sedative. Chloroform is also produced naturally, for instance by Abiotic process in soils. This moderately water soluble organic compound quickly evaporates into air. It is used as solvent in agro chemical and rubber industries. It is also used as a reagent, but the major use of Chloroform is in medical industry given to its an aesthetic qualities.
